• Preservation Pledge Satpal Maharaj emphasized preserving the rich spirituality and the glorious history of The Beatles in the area during the 2009 and 2013 elections.

The Beatles Ashram was reopened to the public in 2015. It is now managed by the Uttarakhand Forest Department. The ashram has been adopted as a heritage site by the state government.
